Waat is a Stirrup?
You're absolutely right that it has something to do with horses!

A stirrup is a big, sturdy cup-shaped thingy on the side of a horse's saddle! It helps us riders (that's me when I'm pretending to be a cowboy!) get on and off the horse safely.

Imagine you're trying to climb onto a big horse, but your legs are too short. That's where the stirrup comes in - it gives you something to hold onto so you can swing your leg over the horse and sit comfortably in the saddle!

Stirrups have been used for thousands of years, even before your grandparents' grandparents were born! They're an important part of riding horses safely and having fun with these amazing animals.

So, did that help? Do you have any other questions about stirrups or horses?
